OP please take no offense. Based upon the information that you provided in your post, it appears that you are not seeking the fastest lap times but are working on your basic track skills. If you still have sufficient grip to be safe on track, then your tires can provide you more laps. If your tires lack sufficient grip to be safe, get new tires.

I would like to go faster as I think I'm getting better at the track but will give these a go for an event and then decide from them. I'll use one of the tracks I normally go to as a benchmark.

I appreciate the insight from everyone and the discussion. Regardless of who's right and wrong it's cool to see what information and experience leads to.

Any recs on a tire that may provide a more elevated experience than the rt660s? For use case context, the tires I use for the track are what I daily in the summer but I don't daily the car too often. So I'd lean towards 70% track useability, 30% street useability.

IMHO, RE71RS are the current GOAT. A052 are arguably faster but feel like marshmallows compared.

Do these tires tend to run wide or more true to size? Asking because I remember the RT660s run wider than what the size really would be.

I have 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 size wheels and am lowered with about 3 degrees of camber. So just gauging what a good size would be.

Yes they're a bit wide. Not to the extent of the silly A052, but almost as wide. Generally wider than the RE-71RS
