Wall thickness plays an important role in sound too, so as above - not usually associated with titanium ones.

The setup I had on mine, (Whifbitz decat, Akrapovic mid pipes and rear silencer) was never particularly raspy, but nor was it deep - what it did give you was a really nice howl at high RPM that I haven't heard replicated on any other GR Supra yet.

The only exhaust I have ever heard on the Supra that doesn't sound raspy is the AWE which has a "unique and richer tone." From what I understand, beyond weight, Titanium isn't the ideal material for exhausts anyway. 🤷‍♂️
Y’all have the Borla out there? I’m just waiting on AWE to make a valve or on/off conversion switch/flap for my track exhaust. I gotta admit I do love it. But damnnnnnn it’s loud AF at times when I don’t want it to be. Such as cruising on the highway :drive:

I'm not a fan of having an extreme amount of welds, but it seems almost every full titanium exhaust out there is designed that way. I was posting to see if anyone knew of any others that I may have missed.
Not sure if you already know this or not, but the pie cuts are out of necessity. Titanium needs pre-heating AND heavy lubrication AND a controlled atmosphere while bending, and can exhibit large springback.

Miss any of the above, and you've get surface galling which will lead to early failures once you get it into a hot and vibrate-y environment. Pie cuts still suck in terms of labor and shielding, its just less shitty.

Australian exhaust valve coding doesn't work like the US and keeps the valves open pretty much all the time. To take advantage of a valved system we would need a separate controller to make it work as expected.

I think you’d be shocked how loud the touring is, outside the car with no drone inside. Let me know if you want me to sell you my touring mufflers! Take you 15mins to swap them out.

Are there any mandrel bent full titanium titanium exhausts outside of SARD? Remark made a batch of 10 for a limited run, but that's the only other one I can think of. I would love to Akrapovic has a partial titanium setup, but their midpipes are stainless steel.

I can get SARD's Exhaust shipped from Japan for about $5450 after shipping and tariffs. While expensive, it's cheaper than the Akrapovic full setup and it's fully titanium. It also comes with resonators which give titanium a unique richer tone.

There’s also Amuse, basically identical except for one large muffler vs two smaller.

yes
years later, my opinion remains the same. AWE exhausts take away from the inline6 sound-- makes the supra sound like any other six cylinder. doesn't sound bad, just takes away personality, i dunno. definitely the nicest looking tips on the market though

my opinion is the same for titanium singles. boring

titanium duals tho.. :headbang:

Don't think Amuse will do it, we sell a lot of their products for other JDM cars.

I really like my Valvetronic exhaust. Separate controller so I can close the valves while keeping the car in sport mode (which is nice for race tracks with sound restrictions) and it was reasonably priced.
