Digging the concept design and look of this cold air intake. Forgive me if I missed it, but can you steer me to any validation testing you have done (or any member has done) that can confirm performance behavior versus stock (IAT, velocity, pressure, etc). I checked out your website and and this forum and unfortauntely was only able to find fit check, installation and finished look information. Keep up the good work. 🙏
my cousins friends mom said trust bro it works. so it works

Hello. I saw this post and thought I would be useful at least to those who haven't installed the forced intake kit yet. The air filter must always be able to draw air from at least 2 places. The BMW M3 E92 draws air from 3 places. The air intake on the hood, from the lower left grille in the bumper and from the space in front of the radiator. With the intake you made most of the time everything is ok but at speed when the wind blows strongly from the side, an air depression is formed in front of the bumper and from this negative pressure the car cannot draw air. From the factory they sometimes have several places where they draw air but this is expensive and is no longer practiced and now the air ducts have holes in them and in case that depression is created at the main air inlet the air filter draws air through these holes. In Mercedes and Renault these holes are covered with felt and the air passes only when the pressure or depression exceeds a few millibars. Strictly speaking, your intakes can also be a problem with water from puddles or when it rains torrentially at high speed, water could get into the air filter and you know what else can happen......

I made the air intake on the Supra like the BMW M2 F87 has and like the current diesels have. The fresh air is taken from the compartment in front of the radiators. I have pictures on an HDD of the old laptop and I will post them soon. It didn't cost me anything, a few pieces of plastic and work. I will post pictures of the original intakes from the M2 F87 with N55 and it is on a BMW G22 M440d. By the way, these also have the safety holes I told you about. The M2 F87 has it in the lower housing of the air filter where the unfiltered air is and the M440d has it in the air duct that enters the filter.

That "fabric" is for acoustical reasons. Everything else you stated I ain't taking the bait.
It can't be bait because I don't sell anything. For acoustics, you make a hole or a large pipe in the air filter housing. That's so that it can be heard outside, which a manufacturer would never do, I don't even think it's legal, there are noise regulations... Instead, what manufacturers do for acoustics (apart from the ASD crap) - they create a resonance tube between the air filter housing and the passenger compartment (it doesn't communicate with the air entering the engine or with the engine compartment because it would be a smell...). The air tube is plugged on the side facing the engine, the noise and vibrations pass through the walls of the tube which is designed by people in the field of acoustics. The Lexus LFA has something like this and it is designed by Yamaha....

VW does the same thing with the GTI's as far as interior sound.
But a ram air will not be a problem with an air box. The supra air boxes have weap holes in the bottom to let water out and the water droplets drop out before turning and going up through the filter. The velocity would have to be increase majorly to allowed water dropplets to be sucked up after making several turns. Obviously hitting a massive puddle could screw up any intake but probably would also break the front facia and plastic bits. Also look at of the waffle patterns in the bottom of air intakes from the factory. Those cause turbulence even more and cause heavy objects to drop....that's actually why they are not smooth

I put the water problem in second place anyway. The main problem is what I wrote about depression. Anyway, it can be solved with a few holes. Now it's up to each person to decide what to do....

I solved the air problem a long time ago, I almost doubled the capacity of filtered air. I made an intake like on diesels and like on the M2 F87 and in addition I installed an additional air filter from a BMW E46 318i, This is mounted on the right where on the mild hybrid BMW the 48V battery is. This communicates with the air filter through a tube that enters the filter through the hole where the resonator was. I worked a lot on this, I don't have a 3D printer. I'll post pictures tomorrow, it's past midnight for me now.

The idea was to greatly increase the capacity of the air filter but with paper filters, as cotton filters are very permissive to dust.

Not a Corvette.
No, I’m sorry, you are incorrect. The fabric is for acoustics, not to increase, but to dampen the sound. The Supra has the same thing in the airbox that looks like a big sponge.

Standard cruise control now works for AT Premium owners!

Just wanted to acknowledge @i3igpete. He further optimized and improved my coding instructions. My coding parameters worked but I didn't have time to re-enable standard cruise control. He did the leg work and got it working! So now there is not much compromise for AT owners. You still get to keep cruise control after removing the radar. I will be updating my own instructions as well to carry over his changes.

Here is a link to his post for those who use ProTool:

I'm not religious, but y'all are doing the lords work 🤣

After the group buy wraps up and all the orders get shipped out, are you planning on continuing selling, or going to take more passes in refining the design? Just wondering because of your post in the other thread.

I'd love to pick one up now that some folks have gotten theirs and the kinks are getting worked out.
