Brand new pure 900 gone bad

Has anyone experienced this? Brand new pure 900 only 200-300 miles on it, was on the 4th day when i completed my revisions when i started to hear a loud whine on acceleration and a huge struggle to build boost. i parked the car at my house and waited for it to cool down to check if my chargepipe came loose or what. Everything looked normal so i took it to my mechanic who had a smoke tester, he checked the turbine wheel and noticed that the blades were damaged. After 4 days a brand new turbo the blades were damaged. it worked flawlessly up till then everything was going smooth i was on my complete tune with my tuner. It’s under warranty but im just baffled that this happened. Scared to move forward with pure if this is a common problem. Should i just bite the bullet and get a doc race kit? Car is a manual by the way if that matters at all.. compression surge or whatever lol.

I was doing baby pulls for my mic when it happened, you can hear at the end when it starts to whine. after that is when i let it cool off then took it to mechanic.
