Stock tires?? Your 60’ definitely will help improve that time significantly. I would’ve expected a high 11. But once you bring that down it’ll help your trap speed is really high

Had the same setup and ran an 11.67, the 60’ should be closer to 1.9, you’re going the right direction with the 295s. Aside from that the prep of the track is going to make a big difference, as is the way you’re launching. A lot of folks launch in second gear, but I found for this setup that just a brake and 1600 rpm’s is the sweet spot with a single click of TC.

Appreciate your input… I’ll try out that launch technique and see if I can get the 60ft down.. pick up the new tires when my stockers burn down a bit :) did you have custom map6? I’m going to get in touch with him and get mine dialed in a bit better

A little slow. Jesse will help you out with that.

Don't buy PSS tires.

You can definitely improve that launch. I have good beginner instructions typed up here somewhere, but I can never find them. Practice practice practice launching.

I run PSS 295s on the rear. My best 60’ on the street is like 1.95 or so with a 1/4 mile at 11.85 at 118mph. Your trap is higher, so with grip, I’d imagine you’d be mid 11s.

I think the PSS 295s are fine for rolls (but of course, I’m not on E yet). If you want to maximize your 1/4 mile, you’ll need to step up from PSSs.

Second gear foot brake launches with one click off TC has been the most manageable for me. Shifting ~5800-6000ish.

Thanks, I’ll search around and see if I can find your launch technique… ps4s?

What tires are you considering next? Also, does the car really die out in the higher rpm to need to shift relatively early? I’ll try it out, thanks!

I’m not sure yet. I’ll do some more research when these are getting close to done, but a lot of people seem to run PS4S. I like the Continental Extremecontact Sports on my other car, too. I see people running the Falken Azenis RT615K, as well. Some people run even stickier compounds on the street like Nitto or Micky Thompson options. All depends on your needs and budget.

I’ve found across ~6 runs that shifting at 5800-6000 improved 1/4 mile but hurt 60-130 (I was running 0-130). Shifting at 6200-6500 hurt 1/4 mile but improved 60-130. For me.
