Maybe I’m dumb or literally going right by it somewhere but I am not seeing the second half of the coding that needs to be altered. Just not finding the BDC key manager stuff in the car to try and change it
Never used BimmerCode but it should be under the bdc ecu and then expert mode probably

Are you selecting Supra when BimmerCode prompts what car model you’re trying to code? If so select Z4 instead, for some reason selecting Supra locks you out of a couple of modules

is "switch off after door opening" a new option with the coding? and does it disable the ~7 minute accessory timeout when you leave the car?
It's just the last two options that are new. Also, it is not possible to disable the 7 minute accessory timeout - it's just a BMW thing. "Switch off after door opening" just turns the screens/audio off when the door opens.

Might be time to RTFM. ?‍♂

This would make more sense and I will try this. I was definitely in Supra and I was able to code in the commands into the hud unit but was unable to find the other area (bdc) to code that part in. I’ll try in a bit and thank you!

Thanks again for this, I will make sure I'm selecting Z4 going forward with any coding just in case anything like this happens again. I noticed there is definitely a multitude of extra things you can go in and change with the Z4 vs the Supra. Kind of odd and annoying that they did it this way, but again, really appreciate you telling me this. I felt like an idiot and thought I was just not seeing it, works perfect!

I did get this working after I went in and changed the vehicle to the Z4 as suggested so I got it working on my 22 as well.

Additional weird note, I got an error after I got the BDC coding in the car and when the hud reset I got a DRL malfunction warning. After I cycled the ignition though there were no errors and everything was working. Not sure if anyone else had that happen but I did not need to clear any codes again or anything. Just kinda sucked having to program my preset options back in again.

This is normal. All you presets (and sometimes also some iDrive settings) get mashed every time you code - I don't use the presets but I hate it when my equalizer settings reset! Also, the DRL errors, etc. are just temporary and go away. It freaked me out the first time I saw them also but it's all part of the coding game. You're all good. ?

Yea I noticed my equalizer settings reset too. Easy fix cause I didn't have that to jostled around although I forgot to go into the other setting and fix the hz ones which just came to me right now

Has anyone noticed this not working if the vehicle sits for a few days?
If my vehicle sits for a couple days the prox key doesn’t work. Once I actually drive it again it starts working again. But when I initially walk up or away it doesn’t lock/unlock.

Just wondering if that’s by design or what.

Yep I noticed this too. Im also getting phantom alarms if I leave the windows open and it locks. May have to undo this coding which will be very sad.
