Cracked plastic hose

Hello, i was wondering what hose is cracked in the picture and whether I need to get it replaced. Any help is greatly appreciated.

That is correct, do you know what wire that is and if I need to get the plastic shielding replaced

It's just a plastic shield for what looks like a positive wire. I'm pretty sure all of the plastic shielding under the hood splits open for cable management/protection.

So its not suppose to be closed? Or are you saying I can snap it back into place

I'm sure it's not going to affect anything. It's not cracked..... they all open up in the middle so you can put wires in/out. It doesn't "snap" closed.

100% normal then. It's a plastic shielding that is split down the middle normally.

lol i should read the whole thread first. been looking for a cracked PCV hose for a good while.

nothing is "cracked". everything is normal.
