Oh, right. I’m retarded. I forgot what thread we were in for a secondDaw 6769. But that bracket didn't fit right with the OEM turbo either.
I agree. Has to be install error. There shouldn’t be an issue with it.OEM fits like… OEM. I think maybe you were doing something incorrect when installing. Did you keep the bracket loose on the turbo hot side when putting the turbo back on the head, or did you tighten it down before bolting in the two bolts from the bracket to the block?
Yeah that’s definitely backwards. The lower V bracket is only there to support the turbo and prevent it from pulling the studs out of the head. Go back over all of your turbo studs and ensure they’re torqued to the correct spec and then install and tighten the V bracket after.I'm pretty sure I did it in the wrong order. I tightened the v bracket then went on the the turbo manifold. I had to remove the v bracket in order the get the turbo mounted correct, but now the holes for the v bracket to line up.
