Spoke to a buddy in sea logistics - circa 9 day backup at ports in NJ for the ships to come in. That combined with normal delays in pipeline updates says to me that those of us with a 10/15 arrival date probably see the car first week of Nov.Mine should have arrived at the port dealer says tracking is not updated..
Thanks for the update. My dealer doesn't tell me anything, other than "10/15 at port and no updates".Spoke to a buddy in sea logistics - circa 9 day backup at ports in NJ for the ships to come in. I imagine yours looks somewhat like this - this is what I get from my dealer:Thanks for the update. My dealer doesn't tell me anything, other than "10/15 at port and no updates".
Hang in there manā¦ I know mine wasnāt a 2023 and it wasnāt a manual. But it was my 2nd Supra purchase and I got all kinds of run around. The dealer tried to appease me with the transit page (screen) updates:
I
It kept getting delayed and dates would move up (taking longer) during the process. Then all of a sudden, my car skipped the last two steps and was just magically at the dealer . Everyone was surprised. So Iām not real confident in Toyotaās system or the current market weāre in, where no one wants to work. Delays are galore it feels like in every industry. But Iāll be damned, it just showed upā¦. and Iām happy as hell now. It was so worth the wait!
This website has that info:Does Toyota release how many Supras are made annually? I mean usually a sports car is 5k-10k or so per region. I canāt imagine itās more than 5k with the lack of inventory since 2020.
5k is approximately 100 per state on average and we know 1000 are in Florida and California haha.
Only 220 in Sept 2022? Including A91-MT and auto?
I'd guess September wasn't fully reported last time they updated the database.Only 220 in Sept 2022? Including A91-MT and auto?
Small update for those in the 10/15 crew - as of yesterday mine was checked into port and is now āVessel Arrivedā. Iām optimistic it gets processed by end of the week and hopefully at the dealer by next week. Dealer thinks no later than mid Nov.I imagine yours looks somewhat like this - this is what I get from my dealer:
