Do you guys drive your Supra in winter with summer tires?

I drive my Supra year round, but a lot of it has to do with where you live. I’m in SC so I don’t feel too worried driving my Supra on Nitto NT555RII drag radials here in the winter time.

I wouldn`t have a problem taking the supra out in the winter time with the stock tires when the roads are cleared of snow for quick rides here and there. But traction does suck and you will wear the tires out faster. Even in my 2.0L I was losing traction.

I did end up switching to the Continental dws plus on the stock rims because I want to drive it more with less worry. I am daily driving mine right now in Michigan winter but I do have 4Runner that I take when things are actually bad haha.

I drive on PSS' no matter the temp, but to be fair I'm in Charlotte, NC so it doesn't get too cold.

Drove my stock wheels in 30 degree weather and almost spun out. Bought a set of DSW06 the next day.

This has been a great conversation, but any more suggestions on Snow Tires? I have been trying to source the Michelin Alpin 5’s, but for the life of me cannot find anyone online that has them in the 275/35/R19 size for the rears.

What set-up did you end up going with?

Went with a mix of Alpin 4 and Alpin 5 based on recommendations from an owner on another forum that is about to turn 100k in his Supra
