Does Anyone Know When the 2023 Model Year Goes into Production?

I was hoping for news from my dealer this week as they were supposed to know about their new allocations on Monday, but nobody returned my call. I'm assuming no news means no allocation. This will make the second round of allocations my preference hasn't been available. My guess is that 2022 Supras are no longer being made and the 2023's aren't available for allocations yet. Or at least that is what I hope.

I just got off the phone with my sales guy, and he said the current estimate is a wait time of 18 months for my deposit I put in the day the manual was announced on twitter.
Looks like I'm getting a 2024 6MT, which I'm ok with, considering how much the car's been improving every year. I can go another 18 months with my BRZ daily.

Yup, I requested an appraisal for trading in my LE and my dealer let me know they will get back to me once they have an A91-MT “in their pipeline” and eluded to the reality that it could be up to 6 months from now.

I put my deposit down in mid-April for the A91-MT, so I imagine for people that have just recently put down deposits - it may be an even longer wait.

I spoke to my dealer today and my A91-MT arrived at the port yesterday and he hopes it should arrive at the dealership in August. The screenshot he sent shows a build date of 7/6.

How did you already have yours virtually there when the car BARELY went up on the Toyota website ? that would be awesome though. Have they even done media drives?

That’s awesome, looking forward to seeing photos. When did you place your order? The fact they didn’t even officially release it to the public until end of April blows my mind they got it built in 3 months

technically not until today when they received the allocation. I called them when the first rumor of a MT was published last year and have been first on the waiting list since then. Had the option of selecting the spec and went with the A91-MT in matte white, wasn’t sure if they were even going to be allocated one and if they did which color it would be. Turns out they did get an allocation and it is burnout/matte white.

Me too, I'm in AB. First on the list in April at my dealer for a regular MT. No word on any allocations yet.

What is MID?

What is MID?

Isn't MID a Toyota term for "Multi Information Display"? Basically the area to the right of the tach where various messages and information can be shown like open doors or navigation.
