Does Tire Rack sell a suitable set of wheels to run 275/35 square in BS autocross?

Wanting to pick up a set of wheels and tires for autocross and thinking of going 275/25R19 square route. Anybody know if Tire Rack sells a set of wheels that will work for this setup on our cars? Was also debating picking up another set of OEM 19s but the Tire Rack route would be a lot easier if they have something that's as good.

That tireracks wheel menu is useless AF. I hate how you just can't search for a specific spec wheel and have to enter in a car. It is DAF.

just find another set of OEM 19" wheels and run 265/275 up front and 295 rears. Why only run a 275 tire on the rear 10"?

Or buy a set of the OEM supra 2.0 wheels and run staggered tires on there as well.

As per my experience more sidewall and lighter wheels work better. Similarly, a squared setup works better than the OEM staggered to reduce understeer.

Diameter is diameter is diameter is diameter.

275/35/19 and 275/40/18 are basically the same diameter.

That said, the few BS car's I've looked at all seem to stuff 295 square on the car. If you're not chasing the top of the class then staggered 275/295 on oem wheels is also good.

Regarding Tire Rack, if you call them they can help more in terms of wheel fitment and options. Their website is setup for idiots who don't understand backspacing/offsets.

People are running 295s on 9" front wheels? I havent seen that lol. I hate running 275s on 9s.

The whole point of 19's on an MT is for the gearing. All the 18" sizes in the Yoks or Stones are going to be .5" shorter or more for any of the 18's sizes that fit the wheel. I've not heard of anyone squeezing 295's on the front 9" wheels, but if it can be done, it will, and will feel terrible. I'm running 285/35/19 on the rear for the extra .3" of height and I've hit the rev limiter on local courses, yet alone nationals sized ones. 275 front as I didn't want to chance rubbing with the wider/taller 285. You do what you feels is best. APEX wheels are popular, but stockers are solid. Not many aftermarket that are much lighter.

I assume 2nd gear for Autox in a MT is a lot more usable than it is for the AT in autox? lol I run 305/30/19 squared and use 3rd gear for our autox runs. 2nd gear is useless. Our courses aren't tight though, regularly 65mph type speeds which helps.

Well, it is as any MT car would be. Any ideally geared MT car for autox will be using 2nd gear for the whole course after the start. In Chicago Region we have a National Tour caliber lot at Rt. 66 Dragstrip. I will hit the rev limiter on courses throughout the year. A course where shifting to third and back down and proves beneficial over bouncing off the rev limiter in second is fairly rare.

Well of course lol. I wasnt talking about any car, I meant the supra 2nd gear on the MT is like 70mph, right? Thats perfect, much better than 51mph in the AT lol, which is why I just run 3rd gear, which seems better than running back and forth from 2nd to 3rd and too much torque in 2nd powering out of a tight turn at 35mph to shift at 51 mph again lol. I have xhp lock out 1st gear as that is totally pointless.
