Hello Y'all,

I recently purchased a 2026 Supra. I noticed that when getting into the car, the seat makes a clunk sound. If I raise my butt, and sit back down it makes the noise again. Has anyone had this issue?

I also tried raising the seat, moving it forward and backward and it still makes that clunk noise like something is loose when sitting down.

I am 190lb

Noises without video are like having Helen Keller describe water.
It is that clunk noise. Everytime I get in, it always makes that noise. But once I am in, there is no noise.

My 23 does this. I spent a good amount of time searching for posts with similar issues plus exploring the parts catalog to see what part of the seat assembly might be responsible for the noise. It sounds like there is some type of play in the lower part of the seat. Easy to reproduce like in your video.

Went to Toyota and they claim it is the lower seat pan. It took a little over a month for the part to show up. I have to setup a time to drop my car off with them soon, I'll report back on if it fixes the problem.

I've started to notice this too. It's not so much a clunk but a slight seat movement upon sitting down.
I thought that as well, I tried to replicate it on the passenger seat and no noise. The driver seat when I have it raised all the way to the top, no noise. But halfway to all the way down it will make the noise.

I thought it might have been the plastic clips that is holding the leather together below. Maybe one is loose, or rubbing somewhere. I stuck my phone in there recorded all the areas when sitting and it all looks fine. But keep us posted, would like to know if the issue gets resolved.

wanted to chime cause my driver side started to do this as well. When I sit down and lean my back all the way there is kind've a popping sound. Not a big deal to me personally but just a bit annoying.

Mine is intermittent now. For a week it has not made a noise. But, it sure is annoying.

Were you able to go to the dealer and fix it slightly?
I have not gone to the dealership. The Toyota location that I do want to take it too, is booked this whole summer. Might take it to them in October or November. Also waiting to see if st4ck0v3rfl0w was able to get it resolved.
