****Update: Adjusting wastegate arm to be within 79.5mm-82mm is what fixed the issue.*****
Past weekend I was working on my Supra and had to take off my downpipe, intake system and lower portion of my charge pipe, doing so I had to unplug the sensor for my electronic wastegate. I put it together and took it for a spin, I drove around for around 15 minutes and I parked the car, started it back up immediately after parking it and got a drivetrain malfunction, ran the codes for it and I'm getting the following codes:
120408 - Charging pressure control: Switch-off as consequential reaction.
123432 - Electrical Wastegate valve , adaption: Stop shut, implausible.
Figured I did something wrong and took the car back and redid the intake and chargepipe, car drove fine (actually felt a little more responsive than it ever had, or maybe it was from not driving the car for a couple of days), did a WOT pull and datalogged it, car felt a little down on power and I looked at the log, I was hitting about ~23 PSI at ~80% WGDC when target was 25 PSI. Parked the car overnight and I started it in the morning and got that same drivetrain malfunction/code.
Code is leading me to believe that the wastegate needs to be adjusted and recalibrated, would that even make sense since I hadn't messed with the wastegate? Car worked perfectly fine before the install, so I obviously messed something up during it. Only things that I could think of are that I messed the sensor up somehow unplugging it, or I damaged the wastegate re-installing the intake box since it's a snug fit. Trying to hear any opinions on what I could do, currently between ordering a whole new wastegate assembly and having it installed, or with the current wastegate on the car, taking it to a shop with ISTA and having it recalibrated.
Attached a video of the start-up sequence to show the wastegate arm isn't having clearance issues on startup (made sure to position the downpipe v-band out of the way).
