That’s as a cold start but when it’s warmed up it doesn’t sound that loud at all

Sounds a lot like direct injection to me, but I can't quite hear it.

Yes that’s normal. Assuming it’s the 330d engine?
Sorry, bad joke.
It does sound loud but then they are noisy motors. It’s surprising just removing the engine cover how loud they are. Hence all the soundproofing on it making it ridiculously heavy for just an engine cover!

No low power, I haven’t tested revving but I can’t hear it from inside the cabin, no metal in oil filter

Possibly if a cold start. Mine isn’t anywhere near that loud on a cold start though.
