Oof. not anymore after some BS happened at Exofest, which I'm pretty sure I flew by you in the carousel.
Honestly most slower private events even by regular organizers are pretty risk-averse. Exocets have a huge ceiling, but the majority of them are super slow.

Slow cars with novice drivers arent a good match to fast cars with seasoned or advanced drivers, and it looks like you paid the price.

Not a fan of jzilla events in general tbh.

But yeah, slide into my DMs here. Happy to help where I can.
Nah, not me lol. I was deployed and couldn’t make it to any events last year.

Another note on the Eibach springs, some folks had commented in the past that they are too soft for track work...
~ I started with the Euro Z4 Eibach lowering springs (.8” drop on all corners) and then decided I wanted the rear to be a bit stiffer. I swapped the rear eibach springs for a set of TC Kline Racing 600lb springs along with adjustable perches. Thus eliminating the major rear end drop under hard acceleration. The car feels much more stable and planted now. Personal preference perhaps. I’m also running a larger Eibach front sway bar and 20” wheels as well.

Yeah, it is just to hold me over until coilovers. Also don’t know if they will fit with 18x10 and 275s square.
Yeah with your track experience, I really doubt those springs will hold up for ya. In town driving, no problemo. Coming from lighter cars myself, I thought I could do a few track days while waiting to decide which coliovers I’d get or if I’d need any at all ?. What a stupid & expensive way for me to find out I should have just bought coilovers in the first place (or kept the OEM suspension longer). Sport lowering springs are far too soft to handle really high speeds on track in a car as flippin fast as this Supra.

Congrats on the purchase! You are going to love it ? It‘s nice to see Knoxville isn’t that far from tracks. How do you like living there and what tracks do you frequent? The wife and I both drive and wanna get a summer home up in your neck of the woods - Knox, Chattanooga, Boone or Ashevile, someday. Still can’t decide which town but Knoxville is high on the list. We love it there and it’s proximity to the mountains. Having the ability to track all year round between places would be ideal. Someday….

Keep your kids (if you have more than one) going with you! It‘s a great feeling hearing mine still talk about all their great memories. My how time flies ?

Hey, Knoxville area is great but it is getting crowded, thankfully I'm a little more South-West, any good track is at least 3 hours away though. I guess Flatrock is only 30-45 minutes away but I don't know any organizations running it yet, other than they very wealthy.

I do have two boys, one is about to be three, so we will get him out in a few years.

I am in the same boat as you, found the rear to be way to soft on eibachs. Would you be able to share the links for the perches and springs you ordered? Thanks!

Was thinking about this the other day... the car in factory form has a lot of squat, so much so you can feel the front end become floaty under hard acceleration mid corner (at least in my experience).

Was looking at these as a way to help mitigate squat while allowing retention of stock shocks and springs.

You need to drop the subframe to install those. I'm also not sure how those would reduce squat?

Eibach sway bars, end links and to a lesser extent an alignment, fixed almost everything that was bugging me about the Supra's handling. That includes a massive improvement with squat, dive and that floaty feeling which is now completely gone. The car feels planted, flat and super responsive. It really opens your eyes as to how good this chassis is.

I went with Whiteline endlinks simply for the fact that I had been given a set. Happy with them, no issues so far. I've had whiteline on other cars and also no issues.
Sway bars, did both F&R and both are set to the softest setting.
Primarily used for street, the softest setting is plenty firm enough for where I live. From the numbers I've seen, the Eibach bars look to be quite a bit stiffer, even on the softest setting, than Cusco or any of the others.
