Had an idea regarding the fake vents, especially the ones on the doors and bumpers (the hood vents already have some real vent replacements available). Since they are noticed as obviously fake because you can easily see the matte black plastic filler panels, would it be a nice finishing touch and less noticeable if they were painted in a super dark black like Vantablack, Stuart Semple Black 3.0, or Musou Black? These super dark black paints reflect very little light (absorb up to 99% of visible light) so they look like black holes under most lighting conditions, hiding any definition.
This would effectively make the fake plastic vent filler panels "disappear" to the eye unless under very close inspection with lots of light, turning them into visual black holes. Perhaps when the car gets dusty and dirty, the vents would reappear, but washing and/or ceramic coating should preserve the illusion.
Could be a cool weekend DIY project.
