I tried to log into the Femto website to prepare to ship my ECO and when i enter Vin it stated not supported? I tried multiple time with same result

I did my search in the middle of Oct and then searched for video's. I did find one person who had the same issue but did not see the solution. Finally, I sent an email to Femto over the weekend and was waiting for a response but decided to post

I had the same issue ordering mine this week. I copied a friend's VIN, it worked, then quickly copy-pasted my VIN in and hit submit Correct VIN is shown in my order still.

worked on my phone, not my PC.

Its definitely bugged out.

Also this guy cant read a basic thread on how to do this, so yeah, worth paying someone else.

You still need to ship it to them and then they bring it to FEMTO, so if you are going to a shipping place, why pay $700 extra for a rando carrying your DME?

So many people have shipped straight to FEMTO with no issues.

honestly i was hesitant to just self-ship it, but admittedly FEMTOs order system is pretty good. I'm just gonna throw a GPS tracker on mine before I drop it off at DHL later this week.

Like Bryan said, if I'm shipping it at all, I'm already taking a risk, so why pay more?

Easy answer - Insurance. FEMTO wont accept your international shipment if its insured, as they then have to pay import duties/customs on it. I can insure the shipment to EPC, they fly there, and insure the shipment back. Ill pay for the peace of mind.
