I'm finding scattered info in various threads. In my previous turbo cars, I was okay with oil temp hanging out around 275-280*F or so. What temp, exactly, should we be comfortable with having and at what point should we be looking to upgrade coolers?

Thanks in advance.

275-280F bulk oil temp should be the maximum acceptable temp to aim for with a quality group4 synthetic oil. 210-230F is optimal.

Interesting...

My car was cruising at 108°C tonight. My last car did the same with coolant. It's average operating temp was a little bit high but it pretty much never budged.

Yes the Supra idles/cruises at around 230f oil temp. Normal operating temp.
