The same but hope Piastri wipes out Max instead. If Max wins the championship its because the FIA handed it to him.

Surely this is satire. 🤣

Anyone with 2 brain cells can see how ruthlessly dedicated Max is to motorsport. No one else on that grid has a quarter the amount of racing flowing through their veins. Max lives, eats, sleeps racing (in any discipline).

Also RB doesnt build the car to Max. Max has been quite vocal about how much he doesn't like it. But we all know a lose car, is a fast car (if you can control it). Max can control it. Doesnt mean its built for him though
Exactly. But Max haters would rather say stupid things like "the car was built for him" rather than just compliment the guy's skill behind the wheel. I guess Ferrari built the 296 GT3 and Porsche the Cayman GT4 RS for him too 🤣

Like Max or no it's a mental hurdle for anyone not to think he's currently the most talented driver out there.

I got online to see what time the race was and of course it's already over. I don't get any channels that air it, I normally have to keep refreshing the F1 site for lap-by-lap updates. It was funny, I thought the race results was actually the qualifying results being shown to me, the top 5 or more drivers listed werre identical.

Excellent job by Norris to have been consistent to win his title, and good job by Max to make it a fight till the end. McLaren really clowned at the end with poor strategy and trying too much to play it fair.

Also, I'm pretty sure Red Bull and Mekies sold out their 2026 development to give Max a chance at this championship (and probably keep him in the organization), so I do think 2026 is going to be between Mercedes, McLaren, and Ferrari.

For some lighthearted fun:

Having looked at the data, we have to reach a surprising conclusion: Max is cooked without Checo as a teammate and is unlikely to win another championship.

4 seasons with Checo as teammate: 4 championships.

7 seasons with other teammates: 0 championships.

The data doesn't lie, Max needs Checo.

Lando did what he needed to do, and had to make a few overtakes in the process... I was impressed that McLaren actually used the playbook and split their stategy too!

Plenty of what if's this year, but ultimately I think Lando deserved it over the other two - but I suspect it will be his only WDC.

Hopefully Ferrari are just going to leave those cars to the sand, along with Adami...

Does that mean Bottas and Cadillac will win the Championship next year? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Adami isn't the problem. When one car constantly qualifies p15 plus, and the other in the top 10, it's not the guy on pit wall.

Alonso? Dude is 44 and still one of the fastest on the grid when he has the car.

That man has had the worst luck of anyone. Always ending up at teams right before, or right after they are good. In my opinion he's the second best driver on the grid, still to this day. I wish he would've been in the other RedBull. The season would've looked very different. I hope Newey and Honda got it right for the new regs and Alonso can hit the ground running.
