Hi Guys,
I currently own a Nissan Z Nismo (RZ34) and I'm contemplating if I made the right decision or maybe I should've gone for a GR Supra, that's where I need your help...
So just a simple background check this is my first RWD car so the main issue I'm about to reference could be driver error, I do have extensive simulator driving in iRacing so I'm no stranger to RWD characteristics. I have come from FWD cars like the Renault Megane RS265 and a AWD GR Yaris, also done lots track days. My main issue with the Z Nismo at this stage has been these unforeseen understeer situations that I'm simply not use too, this could be me coming into too hot, too much trail braking, not enough heat in the Dunlop GT600 or simply the front end of the Nissan Z Nismo is too heavy.
So before I continue unfortunately a test drive where I'm located is hard at the moment to get. So how does the GR Supra behave in tight twisty corners especially going down hill ? Does it tend to understeer? Does it understeer in tighter corners in general?
Does the front end of the GR Supra feel locked in and pointy, to the point you can rely on the front end to lock in and rotate the car with a little throttle input, is probably what I'm aiming to understand.
So what I'm asking is if for input of drivers that have experienced both cars at their limits, I will be tracking the Nissan Z Nismo (eventually) or GR Supra eventually, please don't brand bash as that's not what I'm after, we all know benefits of each brand in terms of reliability, so keep it civil lads! Yes I like the look of both, I'm not fussed at all in that department.
Thanks!
