I was driving on the track yesterday and my guibo was badly damaged and I lost my fuel tank.
My car is a 2021 model and has about 650whp.

Up until now, I have used OEM engine mounts, transmission mounts, differential mounts, driveshafts, etc.
I ordered the Verkline subframe a long time ago and after a long delay, they finally said it will be shipped next week.

I had all the parts ready to install the carbon driveshaft and reinforced engine and transmission mounts while I was working on this subframe.
I didn't work on it because the subframe was delayed.
But yesterday, the guibo exploded and the car was badly damaged.
I'm glad it didn't catch fire while the fuel was leaking.

But after this damage, I'm wondering if I should get an aftermarket guibo or use the OEM and inspect and replace it frequently. Engine mount, transmission mount, differential mount (urethane mount on aftermarket subframe)
Any good suggestions?

The car is only driven on the track and only goes on the street when it goes to the track.
And the final horsepower target is 750-800whp.

Run the driveshaft loop with your new driveshaft, use a new oem guibo, and check your guibo a couple times per year.

Do you mind if I asked how many miles you had on the car when the guibo gave out?

Avoid the aftermarket versions. OEM.

And was it an OEM part? Hard to believe a factory part gave out after 18000 miles.
