Is the hood and the front bumper suppose to sit flush with each out other in this area?

MIne sits flush.. but this is not a Lexus so there is variation all over the car. Germans don't seem to know how to stamp panels accurately or do not seem to prioritize. Same goes with my Golf-R which is even worse.

Even my Subaru's (made in Japan) are cleaner as far as fit and finish.

Yes and no, it all depends on the angle you're viewing it from. Looking from the front, it should look 99% flush from standing eye-level (5-6 feet high), but when you get down low you'll see a little misaligned flare/divot towards the outer ends, a few inches in from the headlamps. As long as it's the same on both sides you're all good.

Make sure your hood is closed correctly. Seen a bunch of people asking the same question when they didnā€™t close it correctly.

This. But it usually looks a lot more lob sided for me than the image provided. As someone mentioned above, I think the alignment can be adjusted pretty easily.. and from the photo, it doesn't look out enough to be a soft bonnet/hood drop but who knows?

And for the record, you really gotta give the bonnet/hood a decent slam to get it right!

Unrelated and could be the picture, it looks as though your rubber stripping is not tucked in next to the inside of the headlights.

I just got it back from the body shop. From few feets away you can't see anything. But when I drag my finger from the hood to the bumper down you can feel a slight "hight" difference.
