20+ for the last three years. Will probably take a break and do much less in 2025 as it adds up. However, I also said that about 2024 as well and I didn't change a damn thing.
With entry fees, track insurance, oil changes, tires, hotels, and fuel it comes up to be about $20,000/year on average.
I am pretty anal about maintenance. Knock on wood, no failures yet other than my charge pipe blowing up on the last event this year. Been 500whp+ for the last two years as well. That’s a boat load of money which is also something rarely gets talked about . What’s the toll on the car in terms of mechanic failure and need for repairs for three years worth of so many track days?
What kind of boost/tune were you running? Looking at the 850 for next year.Did 15 track days this year… big willow, streets, buttonwillow, LVMS, Laguna seca, chuckwalla, and Charleston peak/spring mountain!
Last week, last session of the day, 2nd lap out at Laguna seca and my pure850 grenaded. Pure was very prompt about handling the rebuild under warranty so we’ll see what they say is the issue.
Wheel was completely seized and turbo bearing material went into the engine. No witness marks on the housings or damage to the blades interestingly enough. Not sure of the extent of engine damage (if there is any), but will spend the next bit just flushing it out as best I can.
I did do a PR of 1:38 at Laguna though!
Keep us updated on what they say. Pures seem to be pretty reliable but know the 850 is a newer design.Anywhere between 25-28lbs of boost majority of the time. E40 flex tune, just dropped to e30 for track.
I really liked the turbo characteristics, but I don’t think I was really pushing this turbo that hard. WGDC ~85% at WOT. Oil pressure was 60-70PSI.

Had it on for about 2 months and 4,800 miles. Oil changed after every 2 track days. 5w30 liquimoly, then switched to castrol euro 5w40 for the my last few track weekends.
