2021 6k miles never drive it cause it scares me. Nine seconds flat. My dad was driving. So much torque, the chassis twisted coming off the line. Barely kept her on the track.
It's 13 months old, 2.5k miles, garage kept, only driven once or twice a month, I use dehumidifiers and a small fan to keep the interior fresh and dry as the garage is humid, and some nice car scents from meguiars and autofinesse.
I know this seems anal for most but that's how I like it to feel when I take it out, like it's special.
The thing I like most about it is that the paint always looks new as it gets no UV degradation; I personally found that an intense shiny paint work is typically the main thing that indicates a car is new - so being able to keep that even when the car is a few years old hopefully, is my goal.
Mine is a 2020 with 4209 miles when I hibernated her on 9/24/2023.
No ding, no chip, no scratch, barely any swirls (just the rear trunk area and around the plate) which I can easily polish out as I have detailing gear.
Actually there are some tiny chips on the bottom of the rockers from the front tire kick up. I made custom clearbra earlier this Spring to keep it from getting worse. No one will see the chips, however.
I’ve had my ‘21 for two years and a couple months, and it’s at 33,000km / 20,500 miles despite being off the road for at least a quarter of that time.
Definitely far from new… curbed wheel, bunch of dead tires, couple small dings and dents, ripped off the front corner plastic shit while changing podcasts at 5am in a drive-thru and parked outside year-round up here in BC. It’s not a daily because I walk almost everywhere but it gets plenty of use.
Mine is 2022 MY brought home in January of 2022 - currently at just under 14k miles.
Drove it as a daily for the first year and racked up 10-11k first year but only about 3k miles in 2023.
I’ve caught the collectors bug so the Supra will likely not accrue many miles going forward - searching for a gently used Alfa 4C or Boxster S to add to the collection in 2024.
