Hello! A little backstory here… I like in Arizona and I have owned my Supra for 6 months and I just did my first oil change. I swapped out the stock 0w-20 for liquimoli 5w-30. I’m running a catless dp, exhaust, intake and flex fuel with a mhd ots stage 2 tune. My HP prior to doing the oil change was no higher than 420. After switching to the new oil yesterday I did my first e40 fill up and ran the sport displays to see I was now peaking at 470hp. This is just a PSA to all new Supra owners living in a hot climate to ditch the trash stock oil and upgrade immediately! It was well worth it!

This reminds me of the old Forza game where you could swap the oil right after you buy a McLaren and it would give it 100hp.

I thought the sport display was just a gimmick and for fun not really to be taken seriously. Has this changed? I've never looked at mine lol...like ever. Not even in two years owning my 21'.

They are kind of a gimmick yes. If you want actual numbers, do a dyno run.

Your gain, if any, is coming from the E40 fuel and not from the engine oil change.

I remember, my tuner told me that you can recalibrate those displays, so in theory, you can have a 20,000hp Supra on the “sport display dyno” ?
