For the FP Green...You can possibly update the Claimed Hp # to about 500 hp. We were only able to squeeze 485hp/599tq out of it.

Mods: Port Injection (w/ Injector Dynamics 1050 cc injectors), Reflex+, Powerneedy catted DP, MST Intake, and Ethanol at E56. If I was catless maybe, it would be 500+ capable but stock turbo will push to 550. Maybe somebody with the FP Green with the same mods but catless can chime in.

Yea that is insanely disappointing but I also might be one of the few that is not a fan of FP turbos, coming from a long history with Evos.
Yeah, tell me about it. I was pretty bummed out about it. My tuner felt bad for me too.

How good or bad are the Ali Baba turbos actually?
I don't have personal experience with them. I do know a bunch of VW guys have had good luck with them, but it obviously depends on the company making them.

Im interested in seeing your logs.

Those results are disappointing with PI and E56.

I might have some logs.

The best way to describe it is...In the middle of getting into the power (especially in 3rd gear), it just feels like it goes nowhere. Honestly, it shouldn't be marketed as an upgrade because it's potential is not as capable as the stock turbo. I was contacted about testing the Red but honestly, they've gone silent on me probably because the Red won't be up to snuff either.

DAW Ultraflow

Conservative track tune with stock fuel system.

No PI, no HPFP, no meth.

Just stock direct injection.

Bright blue line is stock map
Red line is 93 pump gas
Black line is MS109

Numbers are legit numbers at the the wheels

A lot more in the turbo but was heavily fuel limited.

Hey @kyle9, since the new DAW naming is ultra confusing, which one is this? The Flow Max or the Ultra Flow R? Flow max being smaller than the Ultra Flow R.

I came from evos as well, although i've only had the 4B11 which FP performed well on. I had higher expectations tbh..

That’s the original gen 2 ultraflow. It’s similar to the Flow Max but has a slightly smaller compressor wheel.

Here is the new Flow Max dyno with PI. It was done on a completely different dyno which AMS says it reads 6-7% lower than their dyno jet.

in terms of real world, I consistently gained about 3mph of top speed at Gingerman (139 -> 142). I think there is more power in the tune if we push the timing a bit more, but boost is pretty much maxed out at 32psi. Technically, you could run more boost but it’s out of its ideal efficiency range already.

Yeah ms109. They said the 611whp was equivalent to about 650whp on their previous dynojet.

For reference I was hitting similar speeds as Jackie’s supra on the straights at Gingerman (when he last brought it there). Slightly different aero setup but equivalent tires.
