Is anybody running intake and downpipe without tune?

How does it perform and does it ruin the engine without tune?

Thanks.

You can run catless you'll just be driving around with a cel. Long term driving is another thing. If you're not going to tune at all I'd go catted.

I'm running MST V2 and catless right now. It's been 70miles and no CEL yet ?. I'm going to tune but my 21 is locked right now. It just doesn't feel right.

I ran mine catless without a tune for about 3 weeks. CEL came on after about 50 miles but the vehicle never went into limp mode nor had any adverse effects on performance. Turbo definitely spooled a bit quicker. I'd recommend a stage 2 tune to make full use use of a catless DP however; it's a night and day difference for sure.

No damage done from using these mods without a tune

Sound will be improved and you gain some power.

I recommend getting the Active Autowerke catted downpipe to avoid the check engine light.

6000 miles on a Catless downpipe. Lights on but no issues. 200 miles on a JB4 still no issues and I drive it hard
You have a 21 too and can't tune. Seems like tune is better than JB4?

When the time come and tune is available, I probably will switch to a catted as the smell does bother me a bit.

Anything is tunable if you get the ecu unlocked. The JB4 is a Band-Aid ( all be it a great one) for now. For some reason Iā€™m going to wait out the warranty before I do the tune voiding it.

running in on 93 has greatly improved the over all sound of the car and added power. For a daily driver I just donā€™t need insane power
