Good morning all,

I've had a constant issue with my '21 3.0 premium that is driving me crazy. I've taken to Toyota and they've said they can't find anything wrong. I was hoping that someone in here could perhaps point me in the right direction. I'm guessing it has something to do with the active exhaust
Mods: JB4, AFE intake, AA downpipe

The problem is that my car is losing it's burble. On start up (default sport mode), the car sounds normal and everything is good. After driving 5-10 minutes, I no longer get the burble/pops. Also, under full throttle and above 3k RPM, the sound of the exhaust sounds "airy". It's no longer deep and throaty. It sounds as if the valve is stuck or fluttering. Kinda hard to explain I guess, but it definitely doesn't sound normal. Also, when this happens, the burbles/pops are very muted. The pops sound kinda "hollow" and lifeless. If I shut the car off, and turn it back on, everything is normal and louder again for another 5-10 minutes or so. I can't make sense of it. Any thoughts/ideas/guidance are appreciated.

With the jb4 you can press the side button on top of your turn signal.
Forget which one

But pressing it parked with the engine on would have give a right blink (turn signal blink) which means closed.
if both flash. It’s in default
If the left flashes. It’s open.
Hope this helps.

What’s the difference of default and closed?

Default opens and closes itself. I think in sport mode it did that during idle?
Open would just stay open no matter what setting you’re in.
idk it’s been awhile since I moved on from JB4 and have a Tomei exhaust

Pull the fuse! I can’t say that you won’t get a CEL, but just pull the fuse. Once you’ve visibly seen to switch to sport and open the flap, yank the fuse. You won’t ever have that issue again.

No insight. I don’t have a jb4 anymore.
min assuming the jb4 helps utilize more fuel than dumping it

Burble tuned cars should be banned but yea that is weird.

Maybe you need to dump more fuel lol

This function only works with a jb4 installed?
