You mean @DaBearssomeone
I talked to a tunner shop and he recommended tunning if I want to go dp route.Well, downpipe is a prereq for any reasonable power gain. You're not going to jam a JB4 on and see the gains you'd see if you had one. Or anything else. Sure it might snag you 10hp on it's own or something, but you need the exhaust to flow nicely if you're going to up the boost.
It was, but you should still buy a JB4 and have Jesse DaBears tune it for ya.Yesterday was a sad day
I'd definitely have Jesse do it. He knows JB4 and the Supra better than anyone. Not all shops are familiar with the JB4.Yes I will have a tunning shop to take care of jb4
It's not! A downpipe may indeed give you that extra sound you want also also come with a nice power bump along with it. Before I went with a new cat-back system I was running an AA catted downpipe and the stock exhaust. Sounded great.Yes the reason that kind of holding me back from going to the aftermarket cat- back system is that oem cat- back
is not that bad at all
Not every downpipe.Dp will give you cel without tuning
Yeah, I definitely agree; for big gains, gotta get better airflow.Well, downpipe is a prereq for any reasonable power gain. I also noticed a better exhaust note with just the AA catted DP, and way more gunshot pops in manual when downshifting. They were also a good amount louder than OEM.It's not! This 100%, some people blow their engines with a JB4 that isn't properly done, everyones go-to is jesse so +1 on going to himI'd definitely have Jesse do it. He knows JB4 and the Supra better than anyone. Not all shops are familiar with the JB4.
+1Not every downpipe.
