Apparently Braille makes one in Sarasota, FL. But like others have mentioned the lithium and cells are most likely from China (or even Africa). So assembled in USA not exactly made 100%. Hopefully battery prices will stay down and no one under 15 is forced to work anywhere. I worked at Publix (my choice) at that age. Was good hard work. But learned quickly why I wanted to study harder ?. The girls got to work the register (some cute ones too) and us cart getters (rain or shine) had to mop the floors until the wee hours in the morning.

When I was a teenager it was entirely illegal for me to have any sort of job - so I sold drugs instead. Saved enough money to buy a drop top 1983 Mustang that I once got so high in I took it through a carwash with the top down accidentally.

DeSantis giving teenagers opportunities to legit earn some money sounds like a good thing compared to what I was doing to earn money ?

Found a much cheaper alternative to the current favorite lightweight battery. I'll let you all know how it performs. $549 vs $949 direct pricing. I think you can find the 60AH Antigravity $100 cheaper when buying non-direct.

That have sales from time to time. I bought one for my MX5 and wife’s car during one of their sales. And the one in my Zupra is still going strong

How is the quality? I ended up going with Antigravity. Figured there is nothing too much price difference at this point.

They’ve been good for me. Once I got past letting it sit around too long prior to installing it

Looks like there might be another alternative now. While I have not been a fan of Optima batteries in the past, seems like this new tech could be promising.
