I legit have RS-R downs in my cart ready to check out and doing some leg work on how to avoid this happening.
It seems to happen to ALL the springs and you seriously have to modify things. Car is pretty low as is. So may just wait it out

Might bite the bullet, RS-Rs have the least drop in all the springs over considered. I'll reply once I get it all sorted, car is in the shop right now and won't see it until later this week most likely after a clown backed into me.

The people having this issue are the minority. Yes it can happen with any springs, but the chances are very low. Most times people see this code it's because they broke something during the installation.

IMO you shouldn't listen to the guides that say to disconnect the plastic clip on the ride height sensor from the suspension arm, that clip sucks ass to remove and I bet the damage is coming from people trying to fight it. Instead, the sensor itself is held in by one little bolt, just pop that bolt out and let the sensor hang. Bolts are easy, delicate plastic clips aren't.

My issue was from the rear ride height sensor being in the wrong orientation for the shop that did the install.

Also if that plastic bracket gets warped, broken, or not set back properly that can also be an issue.

Visconti sells a billet aluminum replacement.

I also used BimmerLink to clear out the ride height error.
Will bimmerlink remove this code and stop it from popping Everytime you drive?

Just wanted to chime in to say I haven't had any warnings with Studio RS-R susdown (not super downs) springs.

So basically lowering this car can almost always cause some sort of seperate issue?

No, not almost always. Mind the level sensors and you shouldn't have any issues. I've had mine torn apart multiple times and have yet to break one of mine.
