On some level it's all "intermediate development" - unless you're one of those lucky few that doesn't have any clients and can work in a bubble of your own design. Even then interoperability and poorly defined APIs can restrict far more than they enable.

"The molds will be ready in about 40 days from 5/7/2022. Samples will be tested shortly after so a conservative estimated ship date will be September 2022. As of now they will not be plug and play so you will need to tap into the 3 wires on your tail light plug and your 3rd brake light. Also we will only release the exposed version with the covered version will be delayed until next year."

I have a hard time you've been a dev (or any career) where you don't know that intermediate comes between beginner and advanced. If you look at any standard career ladder:

* L0 jr software engineer
* L1 jr software engineer II
* L2 software engineer
* L3 software engineer II
* L4 sr. software engineer
* L5 sr. software engineer II
* L6 staff software engineer
* L7 sr. staff software engineer
* L8 sr. staff software engineer II
* L9 software architect
* L10 principal software architect
* L11 fellow

'Intermediate' would typically encompass ~L3-L6
