New do88 intake manifold

This is the comparison i did from their graphs:
23c = 73.4f (mera)
26c = 78.8f (standard)
~5.4f difference between the peaks.

To me, it wasn't worth $1k for ~5.4f difference.

Your the man! I see i was interpreting the data wrong. If it really is only 5.4f difference then your definitely right spending the extra 1k for that is not worth it

Just received the standard version.
Very fast delivery, ~1week from Sweden to US.
Relatively impressed for the price point.
Might be awhile before I find time to install.

just installed the manifold and i’m about to start it. it’s a pain to get the charge pipe back on if you’re using the stock one like i am. i will go on a test drive shortly and let you guys know how everything is. this was about a 6 hour job so not the worst thing ever to do

this will sound stupid but i was reading do88 instructions and bled it how they said to which was very wrong. went on the freeway and saw my iat hit 120degrees F with ambient temp at 50. so if you don’t have a vacuum bleeder you should get one. now my temps are reading at 63 degrees with ambient temp at like 45 ish.

another note being if you want to install the engine cover you don’t need to do the evap relocation like they said. you just have to cut this weird arc on your cover and it will mount just fine

i bought the mani during black friday so it was a no brainer. i’m not going for an 800 hp build. i just don’t want the mani to crack when i install my turbo.

if you don’t have a pcv system on yours they provide plugs but if you still have it the pcv, on the front of the mani is really tight so it’s barely on there for me. i don’t really have any fitment issues but when installing, if you look very closely to their instructions you’ll see that they put the bottom hose on first for the mani which i didn’t do so i had to take it off to install and put back on. other than a bunch of little inconveniences this mani wasn’t too bad to install. you don’t really need any special tools

Just realized the MERA version comes with the plugs/caps to delete the EVAP and crankcase vacuum.
The normal version does not.
Reaching out to do88, to see if I can buy them separately.

Do88 created a order for the caps/plugs. $40+ship.
I just ended up buying the fuel rail kit.
Need the fuel rail in the future, whenever I add port injection.

Everyone is. Even MG Flasher, which has been historically behind on features compared to MHD and BM3 just released reflex port injection capabilities. Didn't talk about releasing it, actually released it.
