new 26 C8 ZO6 with Z07 package, i am surprised the ride and visibility is really good. I will lower the car this week and put wheel spacers in rear with back lugs.

Very nice, one of the few I would potentially replace Supra for

Thx, i will keep the Supra as my daily driver and alternate with TRX. I was going to get the ZR1 but could not justify spending 245K on a car! The real carbon fiber looks good on the car and Rcup tires are really sticky. I wont track the car but it look badass all in black.

It's a damn shame to own a Z06 and not drive it on the track.

I love the Z06, probably what I would pick if I "upgraded" and wanted a car I wasn't going to mod much if at all.

Boomers bought Z06's for 30 years just to drive under the speed limit in socks and sandals, I think all Z06's have accepted their fate at this point.

Did they fix the transmission issues with these cars yet?

@FLtrackdays I think they are talking about you and your sandals.

What are u talking about? Because i don’t track my new car i am a boomer? I have twin turbo Calvo viper, trx, M4, Supra and now ZO6 with Z07 package and I can do what ever I want with my cars! probably before u were born I went to the Supra vs Viper races every year and in 2004 my Viper was doing art mile in 9.93. Not bad for old 6 speed stick shift car, that was before I went twin turbo

Of course not, I probably should have clarified that what I'm saying is 90%+ of the Z06's I see are owned by old people who drive speed limit at best and shift as low as possible for idk gas savings? Even at the front of the line at a stop light, or coming onto a highway on-ramp, they never give it any gas and mind as well just be driving a Corolla. Didn't mean that if you don't track your z06 you're a boring boomer!

Well, you can’t quote correctly on a forum and say things such as, “…before u were born…”

I mean, if the New Balance fits…

You're not allowed to be a Boomer on this site without being harangued. Just because we worked hard, sacrificed when younger for a better future for ourselves and bought all the houses, lol.

I was considering a 27 Grand Sport but well equipped was like 40k more than the Supra.
They are a completely different kind of car and the Supra was more what I was looking for.
A manual was also non-negotiable.
Plus, I’m old but not quite ready to put on New Balance shoes. 🤣
They are beautiful cars when optioned right though.

My Supra’s current garage mate is a little different…
