My friends and family members got their plates in 2-3 weeks so I was just wondering~ ThanksCurrently DMV is backed up due to covid and demand /w new & used car sales. I didn't get mine for about 2 months in northeast last year. And I heard local government extended temporary license plate to last 3 month due to covid.
check /w your dealer and/or local government. while doing that, enjoy plate-less trim.
Thanks, but we are not interested in non-drama success stories.I got my car in the beginning of March and had plates before the month was over.
that seems problematic. Seems like a dealer problem at this point.Just received an email back from the county office saying they have no record of my VIN...
Had a very similar issue because it was not recognized as a Toyota because of the Euro vin. Dealership made a call to whomever does the titles and it was all straightened out quickly.Just received an email back from the county office saying they have no record of my VIN...
Im in Texas also, i bought mine on 5/31 and received my plates in a week and a half. I was surprised because thats the quickest ive ever received plates. Most likely an issue with the dealer.I purchase my Supra on May 1st and I still have not received my license plate.
Dealer keep telling me DMV (TX) is just backed up.
What do you guys think?
