I'm looking to get a set of WRC-R standard seats, and while they fit perfectly around the waist (I'm a 31 inch waist), I'm curious if anyone taller is using them with a rollcage and belts that is closer to my size (I'm 6'4", but more legs than torso). I want to make sure the angle is correct and safe for someone my height.

My plan currently was to get a standard size for me, bolted to the floor, and get an XL and put it on sliders for passengers. I have test fitted both sizes, but at the time I wasn't aware of the harness angle consideration.

Any commentary or thoughts on good seat alternatives welcome.

Not a Corvette.
It's going to depend on where the harness bar or roll bar horizontal bar is and where your shoulders are.

First thing to do is sit in a seat and see if your shoulders are inline with the harness holes.
If not, get different seats.

Second thing to do is mount the seat in a way that the harness holes are in the correct place in order for the harness angle to be at the correct angle to their mounting position.

It's a balance of #1 and #2

Are you at Palmer this Saturday with MT? If so there will be plenty of us in the upper garages with various seat and mounting combos you could try out.

No sadly, I need to fly out to SF to help a friend this weekend. I think I'm settling in on the HTC-R. I just need to determine if I get an XL or standard. Looks like the XL fit is somewhere in the middle of the WRC-R Standard and XL from the waist, but the higher back and containment elements are more attractive to me.
