Well.. that was a foot in mouth situation. Everyone knew they were building a car. Toyota started out doing a regular version and got carried away with something special like the MKIV Supra and couldn’t back out of it and ended up with an awesome car. LFA is probably the last thing with a soul that came out of Toyota.

LFA was always a Lexus brainchild, development team and everything was separate from Toyota.

Yes it says Toyota on the build plate, I even have a picture, but it was going to wear a Lexus badge from day zero.

there was some discussion on transmission options that may end up being in the refresh.
Do you have a guess as to how long the production cycle is planned for this Supra? Will it be on an extended cycle like the 86 where it will be almost 8-9 years before a possible second generation or a more standard 4-5 years. That will determine when a possible manual will be available for the refresh and how long purists will have to wait to pick up a MKV. Thanks.

^I don't mind waiting an additional year or 2 after the car is released. I'm just hoping we're not waiting 3-5+ yrs for one :(

Buy something else.. lol instead of trading my mustang GT for a Supra I just traded up to a Shelby GT350 two days ago. This car is not worth waiting for..
