he was spamming the threads with same post. posting multiple times asking same questions cause no one was responding. saying racist stuff. bashing people for buying/wanting genuine wheels instead of cheaper knock offs lolDamn I replied to Trail like two minutes ago and now he's gone...
I wonder what happened? I swear I didn't say anything that could cause an argument or a ban.

Thoughts and prayers.ewww I hate racist stuff. Poor fellow. Bless his heart.
So I dug in a bit about this. Does not support custom code, so no MHD+ or BM3 custom capabilities like map switching, flex, etc.
FEMTO still the way to go for that.
Interesting. I was made to understand that after their procedure your DME would essentially be the same as a 2020 DME, therefore you could simply flash any customrom items, or even use ECUTEK.So I dug in a bit about this. The way I understand it is since both BM3 and MHD basically inject custom code at the time of flash, there needs to basically be code already on the DME to accept that. Which is why you have to tell FEMTO which platform you are going to use when doing an unlock.Interesting. On a pre-DME locked ECU, both BM3 and MHD can write the custom rom code, since the DME is fully unlocked. FEMTO is a partial unlock, which is why you have to send in the DME to have those parts manually flashed. Assuming this really is a full unlock, you should be able to use all 3 tuning platforms to their full potential. The way I understand it is since both BM3 and MHD basically inject custom code at the time of flash, there needs to basically be code already on the DME to accept that. Basically the same as when FEMTO was doing the "light unlocks" at the beginning that would only accept normal BM3/MHD flashing, with no custom code. You can still tune the car but can't have true flex fuel, map switching, boost target, etc.
Happy to be corrected though.
It's been confirmed that it can't run BM3 and MHD so it's some kind of weird in-between that is definitely not a full unlock. From the post on the facebook group "Toyota Supra MK5/MKV Owners Club".On a pre-DME locked ECU, both BM3 and MHD can write the custom rom code, since the DME is fully unlocked. FWIW, if I keep the Supra, ill be doing this sometime in Q1. I need to go back to Femto anyways to flash customrom, so im just waiting for a few people I trust to try this service, then Ill do it.
I have confirmation from the founder/creator of MHD soOn a pre-DME locked ECU, both BM3 and MHD can write the custom rom code, since the DME is fully unlocked.
