Thought all bm3 capabilities were available with partial? Maybe @zrk can confirm
You can run PI with an AIC Controller, but not a lot of foiks tune that. Maybe Twisted and Marin? You a clone for Flex.

Well dang that sucks. I definitely want flex capability. I hated dealing w going to near empty if I had to switch from ? to 93 on my evo 8 and 9 since stock ecu wasn’t flex compatible like evo 10s

Hey guys, I have also developed an ECU unlock process for the supra. I wont be sharing any additional details, nor will I be using this incredible discovery in the field of modern cryptography for anything other than promoting my shady facebook tuning company. I will however continue to post bigfoot photo quality evidence of my claims and “Its coming … sideeyes emoji” in every thread until the hype dies.
Thanks for coming to my ted talk.
Holy shit I didn't know Tom DeLonge owns a Supra! Do you work for To the Stars Academy?

Summary, 90% chance these people are full of crap, 5% chance they're being honest but just don't know what they're talking about, 4% chance that they have basically committed a crime and have trade secrets that will get you sent to PMITA prison in places named the United States, 1% chance they've figured out the mathematical holy grail and Next Week™ there will be an actual real deal unlock that you can use for less than FEMTO, and 100% chance of memes, nonsense and sarcasm.
I always thought that instead of trying to break the encryption math, it would be easier to get an electron microscope and look inside the chip to see if you can figure out the encryption key set in the chip.

But then again I don't really know much about the hardware side of things and have no idea what kind of protections they have in place against this sort of attack.

It’s certainly possible to use a scanning electron microscope to examine the secure module on the ECU to try and do something similar to what you’re thinking but you’re running up against the law of numbers. FEMTO already established what the upper limit is on what the service will cost, not to mention, they’re in Russia and have a much lower labor/etc cost than anyone here. Also, pretty much every method of brute forcing this here costs money and time, so your best bet is following what FEMTO probably did and finding a human exploit, except here in the US that will absolutely get you in big big BIG trouble with the FBI, hence why they’re probably extremely hesitant to come to the US.

I don't have a ton of actual technical details on what kind of encryption was being used by Bosch here, but if “breaking the encryption math” were feasible, then the first things Id be buying would be ammunition and canned foods for the impending, end of fight club, style societal collapse not Supra tuning.

I wonder how many pages we can get in this thread before our balls cannot turn any more blue?

Stock ecu flash? Because I know that wasn’t possible few yrs ago without standalone. I had to run to separate maps for strictly pump or ethanol blend, not “flex”

Yes, via ECUFlash. It's been three or four years now (I'll have to go back and look at my logs). I gave up on the dual map BS because I couldn't stand running fuel out before adding more. FlexFuel was the best upgrade ever. ?

Same, one thing I hated at time with my 8 and 9s, guess they finally did some type of update to software.

Not a Corvette.

Flex Fuel on the 8 has been out for at least 10 years. Same with Evo 9 except it started out with only a few tuners having access to the ROM changes. Now it's open if you know where to look.

I was part of the dev on both the 8 and 10. I've lost count on how many I have tuned on flex fuel at this point.
