I’m assuming a full unlock for the MT isn’t even on the horizon at the moment because there are no clones?
Well, that's part of the problem, but I think you're slightly confused. The ECU just needs to be from a Gen 2 B58, not from a Supra. I have a thread with compatible ECUs here. However, the problem is the MT Supras use Yet Another Ecu which isn't even compatible with that.

As always, https://willmy062020plusecugotorussia.com/ There's a note about MTs at the top.

One week from next week.
I will be ready, going to take time off and be camped out in NC ready to be the first. Leaving tonight! You better be right.

Swing by and we'll cruise together. I'm using all my PTO for this!

I feel bad for the MT guys. Hopefully they get some options as well.

I don’t feel bad, am I the only one who thinks the Supra has great power stock, and would be a lot to handle with a third pedal+less gears?

I was impressed with stock power tbh. Then, the itch began...

You certainly aren’t the only one but I disagree. It’s all relative. Are you in the twisties? Coming from something slower? My Supra spends almost all of its time on the highway. I come from faster things. Anything greater than an 8 second 60-130 is slow in my opinion. I don’t blame anyone for wanting more power, otherwise there are much lighter and cheaper cars. Miatas can be built up for 30k that are “street speeds” twisty monsters.

Oh I understand why someone who spends lots of time on the highways wants more. It does fall flat at higher gears and doesn’t have that same energy. I’ve felt the power of tuned supras here, it seemingly doesn’t stop pulling even past 130-140.

I spend a lot more time on the togue, so I almost feel overwhelmed by a need for more traction instead of more power. Even my oversized tires can’t handle stock power + my shitty throttle control.
