Hi guys, been following this forum since the day I picked up the car, now that the build is finished I figured it might be cool to share it with you guys.
Been a car enthusiast for ages and plenty of fun toys, but never modified anything. So thanks for people in this forum sharing their mods, which I took a lot of my inspirations from.
Picked up the car mid August 2020 when we found a great deal on a few Launch editions from the dealership, as they are struggling to sell these cars managed to take it off their hands for 22% off.
Since the launch of the car I did not show much interest in it. Thought, meh just a BMW with a Toyota badge (haven’t owned or driven a BMW in a long time). But this opportunity just made us think; looks good, good price and quite bored during covid so what’s the worst it could happen.
Quite quickly fell in love with the car, and found its flaws. In less than 6 months of ownership a new exhaust was fitted and a custom tune. Then down the rabbit hole we go.
Fast forward to today, I have no clue how much I have spent and I have stopped counting. But I think I’m done, just don’t really feel like taking this further, and more than happy with how this is now.

Could not stand the smell of a de-ca as this is used as a daily so went back to the 200 cell akra sport cat. Tuner somehow got similar results to the de-cat, just a bit off the top end.

526 WHP with 5% METH
Considered the Verkline subframe and suspension components but the shop advised against it as it makes the car too sensitive for the road (they done 3 supras with the subframe and those are fully track builds)
I go around different places often so the car only has 12000km (8500 miles) so for XD.
