It looks like we might be seeing some more info/updates in early October! This is coming from a Toyota GB Community Manager-

In the comments: "Keep an eye out on 2nd October for an update dude!"

Pretty sure that was one agreement with the collab, that bmw would reveal their car months before
I hope only months not years. :nono:
We do not really know what it looks like.
Fake vents, spoiler,... or even these characteristics engine type...
It’s hard to tell if I will buy it or not has 5 months of its release finally.

They can't make the statement of the cars being different while also revealing them at the same time. Also if im not mistaken, the Z4 is a 2019 model and the Supra to be a 2020 model

Wasn't it stated from Tada and other sources that it would start production Q1 of 2019 on sale in dealerships by Q2 2019? Seems early for a 2020MY but I guess if it was late enough in the summer?

The first of these models is the 2019 BMW Z4 sDrive20i Roadster while the second is the 2019 BMW Z4 sDrive30i Roadster. Last but not least is the 2020 Z4 M40i. These three regular-grade versions won’t be limited in production numbers, unlike the First Edition, and the sDrive30i Roadster will start to arrive in dealerships across the United States very soon. As its name implies, the 2020 Z4 M40i will be introduced sometime next year. The sDrive20i Roadster won’t be sold in the U.S.

Last but not least is the Z4 M40i. Like the First Edition, it comes with a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six that puts out 382 hp and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm). This allows for a 0-60 mph (96 km/h) sprint of 4.4 seconds.
