Yep! I'm sitting here, cranking the engine, but I just can't get it running. So, I'll keep trying until it starts so I can put it on neutral. To put the car in neutral, just hop in, place your foot on the brake pedal and press the start button. Engine will start. Our remotes have an arrow button?I've had this issue before. Even while its just turning over, follow the instructions on the first post and it will go into Neutral for 15 minutes.
Sorry my mistake. These are the instructions I followed to get the car in Neutral when the car wouldn't start. Our remotes have an arrow button?
Before you also get flame, I will answer: the title of this thread is in regards to cars that are not running.Little off the topic and maybe everyone knows this, but to winch the car into a trailer in neutral you can start the car, keep foot on the brake and shift to neutral. Then stop the engine. Car will stay in neutral for 15 min or till you hit park to take it out of neutral. No need to disable the engine to keep it from starting. Apologize if this has been covered before, but I just recently discovered it by accident.
Yep. That's the one I'm going with, should my car fail to start. Fingers crossed as I (thankfully) have no way to test LOLSorry my mistake. These are the instructions I followed to get the car in Neutral when the car wouldn't start.
