Phenomenal post from Brian as usual! My 2 cents on brake fluid. If you bleed or change it often, you’ll never come close to boiling your brake fluid. You’ll stay closer to the dry temps, the fresher the fluid is. Being hydroscopic it draw water easily and your boiling temps will decrease.

I like Castrol SRF with its high wet temp, if I don’t change my fluid as often. But I did run ATE Super Blue for years without any problems (bleeding it often). I’ve also used ATE 200 with frequent bleeding and no problemo in the fluid boiling dept.

Relative to our overall sport/addiction costs.... brake fluid is both darn cheap and super critical. combined with CSG pads my passengers always feel like they going thru the windshield when i track brake. I change once mid season and then at end of season.

I have had zero issues with stoptec 660 for 3 seasons fwiw

Good friend in the Vette and his buddy’s son riding shotgun with me.

Injured vets were invited for rides. I’ll have to look up the organizations name if anyone is interested in doing this at their track. So nice of Chin Motorsport to allow them to do so. These guys we’re ecstatic and some said even their dream to ride in a track car on a real track.

Really adds to the sport when you’re able to help others. Especially those that have served our Country ?

That is very cool and hits close to home.

I heard Thunder Bunny got disqualified. Shit happens… But the fact any Supra is doing a 9 hour race and legit hanging with the big dawgs is mega impressive! Y’all notice there was more than one Supra out there ? Makes me think my 30 min track sessions and happy hour is nothing now…. Can’t wait to see that Thunder Bunny build sheet.

Their discussion on 200 treadwear vs full slick was interesting too. Made a huge difference in times.

Hood vent and more bumper openings. Also, you have to remember it uses a Motorsports ECU with much different programming. The IAT at which power pulls is set pretty conservative on the mass produced supras.

They probably run straight water in the cooling system as well.
