Also off topic, has anyone gone to Club Motorsports up in NH?

A friend and I just recently found out about it. Looks like a pretty sweet track and a decent amount of elevation change. Bet it's beautiful in Fall too. Motorsportreg seems to have a good number of events listed there with decent pricing as well.

Been wanting to go but it's really far from me (5hrs from NY). I heard it's like an upscale Palmer. Which sounds great. Palmer is my favorite track in this area. You should check Palmer out if you are looking elevation changes.

In the winter we get a lot of the northern track peeps down here. I’d love to be a snow bird someday and go back and forth to the best tracks up there ?

I hear debates from those guys that either Road of America or Watkins Glenn are the must drive tracks. Y’all think Palmer is up there in that league? It looks fantastic from Bryan’s videos!

Someone may disagree but In my opinion, I don't think so. beautiful track during fall color but there was only 1 "honest" corner in configuration I ran. meaning, every corner except 1 were blind apex.

Honest corner, lol. That is going to be one of my driver excuses from now on. "that corner wasn't honest so it made me slow"

You'd hate this not very well known or respected track called the Nurburgring, 90% of the corners are blind, yet it's on pretty much every car enthusiasts wishlist.

I actually didn't find it that scary, though my car only had 200bhp.
I admit that may be because I knew the course like the back of my hand, after all the hours on SIMs.

I find challenging tracks to be very interesting and addicting. Not everyone likes challenges I guess. ;)

That it was. The video is from my second lap. I do admit on the first lap, I was taking it much, much easier ? Just until I learned the limit to the tires and brakes.
If I go to a track and can throw down a perfect-for-me lap during my first visit, I am slightly less interested in it.

As soft as you can tolerate will maximize mechanical grip.

I usually run rear soft and front mid and probably would only adjust the front bar to get more grip or sharpen turn in.

Rear traction is already challenging enough that I wouldn’t up the stiffness in the rear unless I had really soft springs or were in a low-power/low-speed scenario like autocross.

Have you ever run both the front and rear sway bar on the soft setting?? Or Front soft and Rear mid settings?? front Soft and rear mid/stiff will help reduce under steer and give you more front grip.

I’d go as stiff as you can tolerate. Just make sure you don’t skip around like a stone. So depending on your other parts (coilover settings), you may not want the stiffest settings. But in general, I’d start stiff and you can always dial it down depending on your feel, other parts or wheel hop.

Have you done your free track day yet? It’ll be fun to compare for sure with those sway bars! Congrats man
Im thinking of trying front and rear soft setting since I have the HKS Springs which are stiffer than stock. Have you tried that???

porsche's strategy with RS cars has been to double spring rates, and soften sway bars with the last few iterations

factory gt4 is running full soft as well

Im thinking about setting Front and rear sway bars set to soft. Since I have HKS Springs that are stiffer than stock and Dampers on Sport. Maybe I should try the Porsche Strategy ???? If I had the Stock Springs maybe I would run stiffer settings for sway bars and Dampers on normal.
