yup, if it wasn't there, i'd have cut a pair of naca ducts regardless.Ah, so you trimmed/removed the diffuser portion and kept the duct inlet for exhaust cooling.

spray paint some tape in yellow, put it over the holes and spend $5k on coil overs.(Bryan)call me stupid and put me on a better path (not spending $5k on coilovers right now)
My thoughts were if (big if) there were a good selection of track tires, the OEM wheel size would keep the computer setup as intended, including mph accuracy. Minor stuff but that would be a pro ?I can't think of any pros to a staggered setup.
That’s tire diameter, nothing to do with non-square or square. My thoughts were if (big if) there were a good selection of track tires, the OEM size would keep the computer setup as intended, including mph accuracy. Minor stuff but that would be a pro ?
Nope. Not affected. ??My thoughts were if (big if) there were a good selection of track tires, the OEM size would keep the computer setup as intended, including mph accuracy. Minor stuff but that would be a pro ?

Whoops. I didn’t mean to substitute/interchange tires alone and leave out wheels (fixed my post above ?). When they change in size, such as with a square setup, wouldn’t that affect the speed of the rotation? It’s a minor thing but…Nope. Not affected. ??
Again, only thing that changes that is tire diameter. You could run 15” wheels but have tires the same diameter as OEM and the mph would be the same.Whoops. I do know my mph gauge reads slower with my square setup. My wife in the GTI will say she’s at 67-68 mph and I’m reading 70mph in route to the track. Now how that effects the internal computer calcs for wheel spin nannies and limits, I don’t know.
I def agree I love my square setup for the track. I was just trying to find a pro for ya Jason, in the OEM column.
Nope. Wouldn't affect it. No benefit to a staggered setup unless trying to retain OEM understeer. For some people, safer is better.Whoops. Yup it's 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch tape from Amazon. I did 1/2 inch on mirrors, front lip, side skirts, and the two small vertical stripes on the diffuser. The rest is 1/4 inch. Tip for the long straight portions is to put down one point and then touch down the farthest point and pull it semi-tight and lay it down, then go back and press it down. Pressing it down as you go in a straight line will not come out straight. Go slow when making curves, a tiny bit of heat from a hair dryer may help as well to keep the tape from pinching. Plenty of tape on a roll to redo stuff anyways and it's cheap.@Traxion DIY on the red strips? Looks great on a dark car, maybe it'll look good on my yellow as well.

Great question! Discord is probably the best platform if you want to create a Supra group. Reddit and Fakebook, can be mega sketchy. Keeping people honest is a hard feat. Everyone is Max Verstappen and the best engineer on the planet (in their minds). At least durning my short stints on there. Maybe Reddit is different. Fbook I have no patience whatsoever.Anyone here know a non supra specific discord server of some sort where people go in and shoot the shit regarding all things track. Mods, track maps, racing lines, racing technique, competition strategy, wheel to wheel stuff... I tried a search but keep on running in to car enthusiast servers, which is cool but not the same thing.
Edit: There is this reddit server: https://www.reddit.com/r/CarTrackDays/
