Trying to get this splitter to actually work by lowering it a bit. We’ll see…

I let go fixing verus splitter (i thought about adding tunnels, lowering etc), i will just move straight to AJH tunneled one instead.
Wonder if there will be a difference felt, if U need to add wing angle etc

Finished the S58 injectors install, bled the hi-temp coolant system from the Pure800 install and started it for the first time since the Pure 700 blew up.

I also added race tape to my lowered splitter to finish off the gap. The tape should be good for at least 2 seconds a lap.

Was raining today so I'll take it out tomorrow.

Was going to ask you about the gap when i saw the earlier pic. I've never used race tape, and didn't even know that it could be used to cover those kinds of gaps.

Getting the Pure800 and S58 injectors dialed in...

vDyno shows over 600 hrsprs but I'm not going to post that because we all know how dyno posts go.

I have a question!
Are you still running the original oil pump? I saw a couple threads pop up about this where our early 2020 cars supposedly have dodgy pumps with plastic parts in them which seems a pretty strange thing to do!

Yes, I am. However I am keeping an eye on it because I am sure I will need to replace it at some point. The car has relatively low miles, about 22k miles, although a lot of them are track miles. The car has over 65 track days on it at this point.

I have also used the forbidden fruit 5w40 oil since 1,200 miles.

Cool, if your pump is still happily going after 22k hard fought track miles I feel a bit better on mine carrying on after 9k normal (ish) road miles! ?

With the bits you are doing at the moment, what do you think the performance increase will be over last season? You must be seriously hitting the point with your setup and driving experience that you find yourself constantly passing slower cars where it must start getting to be a pain!

I guess they must organise events where you only have cars+drivers of a similar capability on track?

Oil report came back on the oil that was in the car at the time of my turbo failure:
wait that isn't extra virgin

These Vitour P1 tires in 30 series look dumb AF so they better at least live up to all the hype. I'll find out on Monday.
eh I wouldn't worry man, the only time anyone's going to see them is when you're blowing past them

I'll be curious what you think of them. Just ran a set of them at NCM this past weekend for the first time.

Here is my hot take on P1’s after the first day. They were awesome for one session then felt like v730’s and 1 sec slower for the rest of the day. Put about 50 laps on them.

Hopefully they are better tomorrow.
