Going to be a busy winter for me. Decided to be proactive and replace the oil pump with the ZTK version. Decided to finally build the trans. Replacing both guibos and whatever else I find that is causing the vibrations. Decided to finally install the rollbar that has been sitting in my basement for 2 years.

First round of oil pump, parts, Guibos, motor mounts. This is with about 30% off everything. Still better than letting some rando that gives zero F's at some dirty dealer touch the car.

OEM guibos i'm assuming?

Might as well do the JXB part, no?

Yes OEM Guibos. I’m not sold on the JXB since it uses a two piece center bushing.
Will let you know how it goes with me. Will be using the track bushings.

What’re you doing for motor mounts? I did the power flex inserts while the oil pump was done- really happy overall but I should have trimmed the top portion as it does vibrate a little at idle. Tuner raised it, but in gear the rpm’s drop back down.

There are in-gear idle tables too. Tell them to tweak those too.

I'll be putting in fresh OEM engine mounts and half the powerflex inserts.

@garudathree made me some fun aero bits to test out.

Have you had the chance to test these? I enjoy testing these types of things so i'm quite interested. The only OTS solution i've found that isn't something universal and hence a pain to install is the Max Orido kit, and i don't know if that's going to play nice with my incoming splitter, fitment wise.

A lot more screen on iDrive8. For better or worse. Might be part of it, or just being the newer version itself.

I was originally going to try swapping a head unit from a Z4 in an attempt to get some of the upgraded functionality and native Android Auto. Looking at car-part photos, it's clear they have totally different connectors unfortunately

Not a Supra update, but I did get some oil delivered for my M240i...

5w40 that is literally written as approved BMW oil for the B58 but @concept will deny it to the day he leaves this mortal coil because he saw some youtube influencer videos that echo chamber his narrative.

It's going in my street car that still has a warranty @concept! OH THE HORROR!!!

I haven't tracked nearly as much as you have in this car but have been using this same oil since 3K miles. Have done Blackstone analysis twice in the past two years and everything is normal. Just throwing this out there for those coming across more oil talk
