Worst part of radio updates or flashes, takes me 10 minutes to remember how to favorite apple carplay again

Will update later after I have time after work to re-code a few things I had coded in before as well as far as auto start/stop shut off on vehicle start up and proximity lock/unlock etc
Keep us posted if Stop/Start defeat works on that version.

I definitely will. I get off of work at 4 so I'll be messing with it around then

Just need to find my bookmarked post again from Bryan and get it pulled up. Should probably just print it off to make it easier and leave behind one of the seats

I'm holding off until the auto start/stop function can be disabled via Bimmercode before I do this service campaign.

It appears this will be a mandatory feature in all upcoming ICE (non-hybrid) vehicles soon enough.

My neighbor just bought a '24 Kia Soul which has this feature. Like, the Supra, it can be turned off but only by pressing the button EVERY TIME you start the car. Very annoying. What's even worse is that her climate control would turn off every time she came to a complete stop! Not something to be taken lightly here in the Dallas summers. I had to help her purchase a $90 harness that plugs in behind the dash where the button is which overrides the feature and allows the auto start/stop to remember the last setting - much like our Bimmercode option.

I know this maybe some sort of EPA-enforced feature, but I think it's more of an annoyance than anything.

Ok im going for it i guess. my 2020 has never seen a dealership so going in next week for the dme, brake-start button, and camera fix. Hoping for a problem free experience. The dealership claims they have the computer to do it. Sunrise Toyota in Oakdale NY (long island)

just code “remember last” via bimmercode for start stop. I never have to push the button, its off 24/7 in my car…

Update after the video watch…I had the service campaign done but Im pretty sure my stayed on auto memory. I also use ProTools and Bimmercode tho.

My guess is that the active sound module had an update in the past and those cars that haven't been updated since before that are getting that module wiped, requiring a recode. ?

I will say after the update I have ZERO low end power. I coded the chassis code out via protools but think the car is still pulling power due to it having the soft codes for the suspension

Mine is in the same boat. Long, long, ago… never made it past the service center appointment screen queue. At least they were nice enough to let me know they didn’t have the people or tools to mess with her.

Well I tried today and attempted both completely turning off auto start/stop and the memory function. Neither of them seemed to have worked unfortunately
Notice any changes beyond -519?

I didn’t do much typical driving the other day. Usually I always have it in sport mode -trans setting so I’m not guzzling gas the whole time. Nothing noticeable for me personally except that as a couple others stated the audio system seems to be a little bit better but there’s only so much programming can do to fix that.

The ride didn’t feel any different than what I’m typically used to as far as suspension feel for me. I’ve had such minimal experiences with the throttle hesitation that I’m not sure when/if that will happen again but will keep this thread updated if I experience or notice any other differences in ride quality or engine/performance differences

Also want to note I'm going to try one other thing as far as the start/stop coding goes. I had both of them toggled when I tried to do the memory function one so I wasn't sure if that was messing with it from saving my option to not have it turned on. I will likely drive it tomorrow and can test it out again but in the meantime I did code in to just start on sport mode every time since I typically always turn it on anyways soon as I'm moving.

Yep tried coding both as well and went back to just memory and still didn't work.

Guess I don't need to test that out then. That's a shame, although, like I said I typically always throw sport mode on exclusively when I'm driving the car anyway and just toggle the transmission between normal/sport depending on what I'm doing and what better MPG's or not. Otherwise it's exclusively just in sport so I set it to start up in sport mode so I just don't have to worry about it at all.

That's the only other workaround unless something gets changed to get it to work again although I won't keep my fingers crossed
